Event Recycling

Thanks to Iowa Department of Natural Resources and Keep America Beautiful grants, event recycling is now available to the citizens of Council Bluffs! Interested residents can check out portable event recycling containers from the Council Bluffs Recycling Center. Recycling containers are also available at the Mid-America Center to recycle cans and bottles at their events.

A toolkit has been created to assist you in incorporating recycling as an integral part of your event. A form is also available below if you would like to check out containers for your event.

Call the Council Bluffs Recycling Center for further assistance with recycling at your event.

Either form below may be completed electronically or printed off and filled out. Forms may be submitted to the Council Bluffs Recycling Center by

  • dropping it off at the office.

  • emailing it to smeister@councilbluffs-ia.gov.

  • faxing it to (712) 328-4987.

  • mailing it to 4441 Gifford Rd., Council Bluffs, IA, 51501. Please put Attn. Shannon Meister.
